I love coming here, everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. My kids love coming and checking out the fish and all the birds, all the different reptiles. All the habitats and fish tanks are clean. Once there was some sick looking clown fish they came right away and removed them.

Pricey, but the staff is so knowledgeable and I'm able to get awesome gold fish here that I can't find anywhere else. Morgan was the absolute best! Helped me pick a fish and was so funny, patient, kind, and answered all my questions (I had SO many, and they all were answered extensively and I didn't feel rushed at all). Morgan is so awesome! This place is definitely worth the trip downtown, as they seem to truly care about their fish and other animals. Plus there is so much to see!

Topical kingdom is a staple in the community for all your animals needs!!!! I have been coming here for years and just love it!!! At least once a week I’m in there looking around or buying something!!! And the people are top notch they can answer any questions you have!!!! Hell yeah!!!!

I recently visited Tropical Kingdom on Prince Road in Tucson and was thoroughly impressed! If you're looking for a diverse selection of high-quality exotic pets—from fascinating reptiles and vibrant fish to unique birds and small mammals—this is the place to go. Exceptional Knowledgeable Staff: The team, especially the owner, is incredibly friendly and truly knows their stuff. They took the time to patiently answer all my questions about proper husbandry for a new ball python (which is thriving, by the way!) and made sure I felt completely confident before taking my new pet home. They clearly prioritize the well-being of their animals and are a great resource for ongoing care. Vast Selection: Their inventory is huge! They have an impressive range of freshwater and saltwater fish, a massive reptile section (snakes, bearded dragons, turtles), birds, invertebrates like tarantulas and scorpions, and all the accessories you could ever need. Affordable Supplies: I was pleasantly surprised to find that their feeder insects and rats were some of the most affordable in the area, which is a big plus for pet owners. While the store sometimes feels a bit "old-school" and could use a little tidying up in some areas, the excellent customer service and healthy, diverse animals absolutely make up for it. If you are a reptile, fish, or exotic pet enthusiast in Tucson, you absolutely need to check out Tropical Kingdom!

Ive been here for frozen rat pups, window shopping, and purchased two amano shrimp here. They are a little bit pricier than a chain store of course, but the quality has been such a difference. We have a juvenile ball python who was just shipped across country, she finally ate on of the rat pups from here. (We had been to a few diffeerent stores and one the live rats we tried had mites that killed the poor guy after 12 hours of us buying it. Luckily our snake refused it before we knew). Also, of all the shrimp I've purchased at various shops, these shrimp have lived the longest, been the healthiest, and take care of my tank. I love bringing my son here too. The staff have always been sweet and helpful, we love coming back here.

Great store has alll you need and if you can’t find it.. ask those folks. Let me sound like I know them. 😬 They have both salt water and freshwater fish and plants. Tons of accessories for fish. Got a HUGE assortment of creatures such as tarantulas, jumping spiders, wolf spiders, scorpions, millipedes, and things like that. Frogs of all sorts, lizards, bearded dragons(love these) snakes, turtles, and ETC. BIRDS of all kinds and whatever the heck they need and things they don’t need but you want them to like em cause you do. Bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, Degus, chicks(the variety they pop up with are awesome wish I could have em) golden pheasants, and many many other pets depending on their availability. I’ve ask a lot. That’s how I know this Is a great place. The staff has always been nothing but great. Thanks again for everything guys and gals!

This store is awesome! I've been coming here regularly for about two years, and gotten multiple reptiles and arachnids from there. The animals are always very healthy and well cared for, and the staff are super knowledgeable about them. I have had thousands of questions and they are always so patient with me. I get my feeders (mice and dubia roaches) from here on a regular basis and they are always great quality. Debbie, Tiana, Derek, and Brett are amazing people who are just so sweet and approachable.
